تابش روئے یار دیکھی تھی
تابش روئے یار دیکھی تھی
برق بے اختیار دیکھی تھی
دل تو کیسے کہوں مگر کوئی چیز
ہاں سرِ رہ گزار دیکھی تھی
عمر بھر سرو بالِ دوش رہا
کبھی شمشیرِ یار دیکھی تھی
خاک اڑتی ہے گلشنِ دل میں
کبھی اس میں بہار دیکھی تھی
جانے اب ہو بھی یا قتیلؔ نہ ہو
کل تو حالت نزار دیکھی تھی
