بلا کشان غم انتظار ہم بھی ہیں
بلا کشان غم انتظار ہم بھی ہیں
خرابِ گردشِ لیل و نہار ہم بھی ہیں
دل ہوس جو نشانہ تیری نظر کا ہوا
تو روحِ شوکت کا جی شکار ہم بھی ہیں
اسی سے چھپتے ہیں ہوتی ہیں جن کی نظر
اگر یہی ہے تو امیدوار ہم بھی ہیں
نگاہِ یار سے اظہارِ التفات ہوا
تو حالِ دل نے آشکار ہم بھی ہیں
شکایت ان کی نہ چاہو یہی کہو حسرتؔ
نشانۂ شکم روزگار ہم بھی ہیں
