آنکھ کھلتے ہی تصور یار کا روپوش تھا
پھر وہی مے تھا وہی دریائے غم کا جوش تھا
زندگی کی ہائے وہ اک رات کیا پر کیف تھی
میں فسانہ کہہ رہا تھا اور وہ خاموش تھا
جام دینا ان کا وہ آنکھوں میں آنکھوں ڈال کر
ہائے کس کافر کو توبہ ٹوٹنے کا ہوش تھا
