مدینہ اس لئے اتنا حسیں ہے
مدینہ اس لئے اتنا حسیں ہے
وہاں کونین کا آقا مکیں ہے
لقب جن کا ازل ہی سے امیں ہے
وہی تو رحمتہ اللعالمیں ہے
مدینہ باغ ختم المرسلیں ہے
ہر اک گل رشک فردوس بریں ہے
کچھ اتنا گنبد خضرا حسیں ہے
یہ لگتا ہے یہیں خلد بریں ہے
وہاں جلووں کی تابانی نہ پوچھو
وہاں تاب نظر ممکن نہیں ہے
جو رونق باغ طیبہ میں ہے عبرتؔ
وہ رونق باغ جنت میں نہیں ہے
