دگر رفتم کہ در میخانہ باشم
دگر رفتم کہ در میخانہ باشم
رفیقِ شیشہ و پیمانہ باشم
ز مے نوشی رود کارِ من از پیش
روم در کار خود مردانہ باشم
چرا از مے فروشاں دور گردم
چرا با آشنا بے گانہ باشم
تو می باید کہ دائم شاد باشی
چہ باشم من کہ باشم یا نہ باشم
توانم آشنا را آشنا ساخت
اگر بیگانہ بیگانہ باشم
چہ حاصل از غمِ ایام مجذوبؔ
ہماں بہتر کہ در میخانہ باشم
