manam imshab sana-KHwan-e-mohammad
manam imshab sanā-ḳhvān-e-mohammad
salātullāh bar jān-e-mohammad
I am praising Prophet Muhammad tonight and sending blessings and peace upon him.
ba-go hamdam ki baaz aamad shab-e-ġham
hadīs-e-zulf-e-pechāñ-e-mohammad
My dear! A sorrowful night has come again. Let's talk about the curly hair of my Prophet.
salātam baad bar ḳhūbān-e-mahvash
nihālān-e-gulistān-e-mohammad
Peace and blessings upon the noble descendants and luminous personalities like the radiant moon of the garden of Prophet Muhammad.
ba-deh saaqī sharāb-e-soz-e-ulfat
ba-haqq-e-kaif-e-chashmān-e-mohammad
O cupbearer! By the means of the inebriated eyes of Prophet Muhammad, grant me such wine drink that intensifies the pain of my love.
sifat chuuñ niist ġhair-e-zāt ai dil
ḳhudā ḳhud hast qur.ān-e-mohammad
O heart! Just as the attributes are not separate from God, God Himself is the Quran of Prophet Muhammad.
sabā ziiñ 'maikash'-e-bīmār-e-furqat
duaa.e go ba-mastān-e-mohammad
O God! May the prayer of yearning Maikash reach the devotees of Prophet Muhammad.
