Profile of Anant Maharaj
He was a follower of Nirguni sect. An inhabitant of Ahmednagar, he later settled in Paithan. At the same time, in the Eknath temple, he engrossed in devotional practice. His paintings are also available in this temple. Not much is known about him. He was a Gyanmargi saint. He has composed chowpai verses in addition to lyrical Pads.
