Profile of Gang
He was a poet of Akbar’s court, who enjoyed close acquaintance with Rahim. It is famous, that once when Rahim was immensely happy, he showered Gang with a bounty of 36 Lakh Rupees. He was killed by an elephant on the orders of a king. He had mastery in saying Narakavya. None of his texts are found in book-for., but many of his poems abound in Vir and Shringar-Ras.
