Profile of Hashmi Bijapuri
Born Syed Mira'n in his hometown Bijapur, he was a follower of Hazrat Syed Hashim Alvi, and due to this acquaintance, he wrote under the pen name Hashmi. He versified the famous story of "Yusuf-Zulaikha". He died in Bijapur in 1056 AH.
