Profile of Ibn-e-Nishati
Nishati or Ibn-e-Nishati took place in Golconda in the mid-17th century. This was the time of Sultan Abdullah Qutb (1624-72 AD), who, despite not being a very high poet himself, was a lover of poetry. Nishati was the high official of the court of Sultan Abdullah. He is credited with one Masnavi named 'Phoolban'. The poet has written it on the basis of Persian 'Masnavi' Bisate'.
