Profile of Mashooq Allah
Real Name : Ali Muhammad Mashuq Allah
Born in Ahmedabad, he wrote under thepen-name ‘Mashuq-allah’. He inherited a village from his ancestors; thus, he was called Gamghani (village owner). A Sufi Saint, his Malfuzat (sayings), were anthologized by his pupils under the title, ‘Jawahar ul Israre Allah'.
