Profile of Muhammad Fatah
A resident of Godhra and a contemporary of Muhammad Amin Gujarati, he wrote under the pen-name Fath. He wrote his Masnavi 'Yusuf Zulekha' in AD 1693. When Fatah expressed his desire to write this Masnavi in front of his friends, Muhammad Amin Gujarati asked him to write something different, since he had already written a Masnavi of the same name. After this, Fatah wrote his Masnavi Yusuf-e-Sani, based on other themes. It expounds upon the Islam code through a discourse between the prince and princess of China
