Profile of Muhammad Shah Rangila
The tenth Mughal emperor of Delhi, Shah wrote under the pen-name ‘Sadrang’. He ascended the throne of Delhi in 1786 and ruled for 29 years. Historians call him Muhammad Shah ‘Rangile’, due to his colorful nature. He was very fond of singing and playing instruments. He has also composed many popular songs.
