Profile of Nusrati
His time was the time of Aurangzeb’s time of Deccan’s conquest. He has also described the war with the Mughals in his Alinama. In his ‘Gulshan-e-Ishq’ he has retold 'Manohar-Madhumalati' in a novel way imbued with Veer-Ras. His family was a follower of the great saint of the south, Khwaja Banda-Nawaz Gesudaraz. Nusrati Dakini is also regarded as a great poet of Hindi.
