Born Azimuddin, his father's name was Qazi Sheikh Muhammad bin Qazi Mustafa. His ancestors came to Somnath Patti with Mahmud Ghaznavi and settled there. In the last days, Sheikh Deen went to Mangrol (Saurashtra), and took his last breath there. Shekhadin was credited as the writer of Masnavis 'Kissa Kali Gori', and 'Kissa Mangroli Shah' in 1776 AD. Both of them are written in Musaddas-style. He has also written a Munazat in praise of Shah Alam.
