He was a courtier in the court of the first Sultan of Golconda Abdullah Qutb Shah (1624–72 AD). Once upon a time he went to Bijapur for some work, where he got a chance to enjoy Shah Aminuddin’s acquaintance. He became his disciple of Shah and having returned to Bhaganagar (Hyderabad) he lived a life like that of Sufis. He wrote several texts in Deccan language of which Chakki Naama is famous.
