Yameen was associated with the Warsi dynasty. His teacher Dr. Betab Nazeer Muzaffarnagri writes in praise of Yameen's Naa't collection “Manba-e-Anwaar”: Yameen Warsi is the youngest poet among all my students. He sits in his shop and buys and sells newspapers and books. Following the footsteps of the elders, he recited poems according to their principles of art and always wrote beautiful Naa't.
