az ’aqibat-e-kar chu gashtam ghafil
az ’āqibat-e-kār chu gashtam ġhāfil
shud ’umr ba-andoh-o-ġham-e-kāhish-e-dil
paivasta ba-ḳhud hamīñ hikāyat dāram
ziiñ 'umr garāñ-māya che kardī hāsil
As I became indifferent towards the consequences of
my deeds,The life passed in grief, trouble and pain.
I ever ask myself the same old thing : What could I get from this precious life ?

zin 'umr garan-maya che kardi hasil
As I became indifferent towards the consequences of
