اگر دل دار میں رسوا نہ ہوتا
اگر دل دار میں رسوا نہ ہوتا
تو تیرے حسن کا شہرا نہ ہوتا
نہ ہوتا مصر کا بازار ہی گرم
اگر اس عشق کا سودا نہ ہوتا
کہاں جا خاک دیوانے اڑاتے
اگر یہ گوشۂ صحرا نہ ہوتا
اگر پردہ نہ ہوتا کفر و دیں کا
نشید عاشقاں بالا نہ ہوتا
نکلتا نا امیدی سے مرا جی
اگر یہ وعدۂ فردا نہ ہوتا
خدائی کب میسر تجھ کو ہوتی
اگر یہ عشقؔ سا بندہ نہ ہوتا
