سر ہے اپنا اور تیغ یار ہونی ہو سو ہو
جاں رہے یا جائے اب کی بار ہونی ہو سو ہو
گر نہ رہنے پائیں اس کوچے میں لیکن جائیں گے
جب تلک ہے طاقت رفتار ہونی ہو سو ہو
ہم سے کوئے یار کا جانا نہ چھوٹے گا کبھی
جو ستم چاہیں کریں اغیار ہونی ہو سو ہو
آشناؔ سہنا جفا اغیار کی پر ہاتھ سے
چھوڑ نہ دامن دل دار ہونی ہو سو ہو
