جہان غم میں جسے بے قرار دیکھا ہے
جہان غم میں جسے بے قرار دیکھا ہے
اسیر کشمکش انتظار دیکھا ہے
حریص ہے نگہ شوق کس قدر کہ انہیں
بچا بچا کے نظر بار بار دیکھا ہے
چبھی ہیں سینے میں جینے کی حسرتیں کیا کیا
کسی نے جب ہمیں بیگانہ وار دیکھا ہے
سمجھ میں آ نہ سکے معجزے محبت کے
کہ نا امید کو امیدوار دیکھا ہے
کہیں جہاں میں نہ ہم کو ملا وہ لطف حیات
جو زیر سایۂ دیوار یار دیکھا ہے
