اللہ رے حوصلہ نگۂ بے قرار کا
اللہ رے حوصلہ نگۂ بے قرار کا
نظارہ اور جنبش مژگان یار کا
شکوہ نصیب کا نہ گلا حسن یار کا
سارا قصور ہے دل بے اختیار کا
رتبہ اپنا دیکھیے نگۂ شرمسار کا
رخ ہے ادھر ہی رحمت پروردگار کا
اے جبر دوست رحم کہ اب تاب غم نہیں
ہوتا ہے راز فاش مرے اختیار کا
رعنائی جہاں کی حقیقت ہے اس قدر
دھندھلا سا ایک عکس ہے رخسار یار کا
ماہرؔ ہے بزم دہر پریشانیوں کا گھر
شکوہ فضول ہے ستم روزگار کا
