موت کیا سوچ کر نہیں آتی
میری رخصت کا وقت آ پہنچا
تیری صورت نظر نہیں آتی
یہ ہنسی غیر کا مقدر ہے
کیا مرے حال پر نہیں آتی
تیری محفل کو دوڑتا ہے خیال
بے خودی راہ پر نہیں آتی
عمر کیسے کٹے گی سیفؔ یہاں
رات کٹتی نظر نہیں آتی
