Maulana Mubeen Abbasi Kaifi Chariakoti, son of Maulana Muhammad Farooq Abbasi Chariakoti, younger brother of Prof. Ameen Abbasi and the grandson of Maulana Muhammad Kamil Numani Abadani Walidpuri, was born in 1390 AH in 1890 in the town of Walidpur. Under the tutelage of his grandfather Maulana Muhammad Kamil Numani, primary education and training continued. Between 1910 and 1913, he studied in Gorakhpur, Rae Bareli, etc., and became acquainted with French, German and Latin, and continued to serve there for a few days. Then he entered the field of journalism with the spirit of service to the country and the nation and knowledge and literature and started his excellent journalism and edited many prestigious newspapers and famous magazines. It is said that he stepped into the field of journalism against his family tradition of education and learning. He had a keen eye on Arabic and Persian. His work in Arabic has also come to the fore. Kaifi Chariakoti was accustomed to living a selfless life like his father Maulana Muhammad Farooq. Despite the small number of his works, they are of high academic value and status. Kaifi Chariakoti, due to his modest nature, was attracted to poetry from an early age, which was further enhanced by the academic and literary atmosphere of his home. He tried his hand at poetry, hymns, naats, ghazals, poems, qasidas, quatrains and Qitas. Apart from Urdu, he also wrote in Persian, Arabic and Hindi. He passed away on Sunday, October 1, 1956, and was buried in Itawah, Uttar Pradesh.
