Khalish Dehlvi, a well-known Urdu poet, was born on June 2, 1935 in Borawal, Punjab. His real name was Krishna Bhayana and was an engineer by profession. With the help of his father Shri Mohan Lal Bhayana, who was himself an Urdu scholar, he began a movement in Urdu literature. His writings are included in almost all Urdu journals, including ‘Beeswi'n Sadi’.
