Since the ancient times, the livelihood of the Kshatriyas depended upon confiscating others land. Haridas, too, sustained the same way. It is said that one day a saint passed by and Harisingh stopped him with the idea of robbing him. The Mahatma's words changed his conscience. The Mahatma preached to him the spiritual path and was went away. It is said that he was Mahatma Gorakhnath. He threw his weapons in a well and took to a hill in Tirwi Dungri.
