Saba Warsi's full name was Muhammad Yaqub. He was born on July 5, 1972, in the Dewa District of Barabanki. He received his early education from his father Shahid Shah Warsi and then enrolled in Madrasa Misbah-ul-Uloom, Dewa. Here he studied Arabic and Persian. Inclined towards poetry from the very beginning, he formally began composing with his acquaintance of Kamal Shah Warsi. Saba used to take Islaah from Kabir Warsi, and later from Israr Warsi. Saba joined the Warsia order on Adil Shah Warsi's solicitation.
