Born on the 8th of Ramazan, 1319 AH, in 1901, Sabih’s real name was Charag-e-Emad. His primary education was taken care of by his father Shah Habibul Haq Emadi. He studied in Madrasa Sham-ul-Huda, Patna for a few years, then moved to Madrasa-tul-Hayaat, Kanpur. Sabih Emadi completed his education under the supervision of Maulana Azad Sub'hani And reached the level of perfection in the esoteric sciences. In addition to the immense ability of Arabic and Persian, he also got access to physical intelligence and study in Jafar, Ramal and Taksim. He had a great ability to speak. He excelled in Azimabad in Qur'anic exegesis, Hadith teaching, Masnavi teaching and the art of oratory. He was very humble and had disciples and followers in different countries. From the beginning, he was inclined towards poetry and continued to take corrections from Tamanna Emadi. Sabih used to sing ghazals in addition to Qasida and Naa't. Many of his writings were also published in magazines and newspapers. His collection of poems has been published with the title ‘Naqsh-e-Sabih’. Sabih Emadi was a prominent and active Sajjada Nashin of Khanqah Emadia Qalandaria, Mangal Talab, Patna City. Khanqah Emadia was further identified by his caste. Sabih Emadi passed away on February 7, 1975.
