Sabr Lakhnavi’s real name was Munshi Abdul Ghani. He was a pupil of Hazrat Raza Farangimahali, and the author of the book "Afsana-e-Aashiq-e-Dilgir Urf Shiri'n Farhad Bit-Tasveer", a work that he had worked very hard for.
