Profile of Shah Ali Jeev Gamdhani
Shahi Ali Jeev Gamghni is a descendant of the great Sufi saint Kabir Ahmad Rifai and the son of the famous Sufi saint Qutb-e-Alam Shah Ibrahim bin Shah Omar Al-Hussaini Al-Ahmadi. He has a tomb in Raigad in Ahmedabad. Shah Ali Jeev had a great influence in his village, so he was called Gamghani (village owner). His collection of compositions is famous as 'Jawahir-e-Asrarullah'. Gamghni's poetry is a syncretism of monotheism and non-dualism. God, Soul, and the World have been highlighted by many beautiful expressions. Being a Sufi, his compositions are also full of the influence of mysticism and love.
