Shah Waliullah Muhaddis-e-Dehlvi is a renowned religious scholar of the subcontinent. Shah Waliullah died in Muzaffarnagar, India on February 21, 1703, and died on August 20, 1762, in Delhi. Shah Waliullah is a renowned religious scholar, theologian, philosopher, and muhaddith. He memorized the Qur'an at the age of seven. His father Shah Abdul Rahim Muhaddis-e-Dehlvi was also a famous muhaddis of his time. He benefited from them and also got allegiance and caliphate. Shah Waliullah Naqshbandia used to follow Abulolaiya. Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Dehlavi has also translated the Holy Quran into Persian. He also wrote books on exegesis, hadith, jurisprudence, history, and mysticism, but gained fame from his book Hujjatullah-Al-Balghah. Shah Waliullah also performed great deeds as a Muazzin.
