Profile of Syed Nooruddin Satguru
An inhabitant of Belum city, Iran. He came to India during the time of Raja Jai Singh (AD 1095-1143) of Patan, Gujarat. He mastered the Arabic, Persian and Sanskrit languages. His poems are written in Guujari, and find in them a rare confluence of Sufi ideas and the Vedic essence. Bani of Satguru is famous among his followers as 'Satpanti Rasail'.
