بہت سردی کے دن کسی نے بشر حافی کو کپڑے اتار کر کانپتے ہوئے دیکھا اور پوچھا کہ اتنے کم کیوں پہنے ہو؟
آپ نے کہا کہ میں غریبوں اور ان کی حالت کو یاد کرتا ہوں اور میرے پاس کچھ دینے کو نہیں، اس لیے میں نے چاہا کہ ان کی طرح سردی سہوں‘‘
