افسوس ز سر تا بہ قدم بو الہوسی
اندیشہ بہ کن بہ بیں چہ چیزے چہ کسی
آزاد بشو ز دام غفلت گفتم
تا در ہوسے اسیر اندر قفسی
ہے تیرِ ہوس اور تو اس کا نخچیر
کچھ سوچ کہ تو خاک ہے یا ہے اکسیر
پھندے غفلت کے توڑ، ہو جا آزاد
جب تک تو ہوس میں ہے قفس میں ہے اسیر
