گہ سرو و گہے سنبل و گہ یاسمینے
گہ سرو و گہے سنبل و گہ یاسمینے
گہ کوہ و بیابنے و گاہے چمنے
گہ نور چراغے و گہے بوئے گلے
گہ در چمنے و گاہ در انجمنے
سنبل ہے کبھی اور کبھی برگِ سمن
تو دُرِّ عدن کہیں، کہیں لعلِ یمن
تو شمع کا نور ہے ہر اک محفل میں
بُوے گُلِ تر ہو کے بھی ہے زیبِ چمن
