گاہے کہ دلم حساب کردار کند
گاہے کہ دلم حساب کردار کند
چندیں غم و اندوہ بہ خود یار کند
پیش از نفسے نہ دیدم ایں کار کند
کارے کہ ندامت دہد انکار کند
کرتا ہے کبھی دل جو حسابِ کردار
ہوتا ہے اُسے بارِ گنہ سے آزار
جس کام سے ہوتی ہے ندامت اتنی
اس کام سے کرتا نہیں مطلق انکار
