تا چند در ابدیشۂ دنیا باشی
آواۂ دشت و کوہ و صحرا باشی
دامان قناعت است بسیار وسیع
از دست مدہ در ایں جہان تا باشی
کب تک تجھے اندیشۂ دنیا کب تک
آوارۂ دشت و کوہ و صحرا کب تک
ہے اس میں بھلا تیرا اسے چھوڑ نہ تو
دامانِ قناعت سے کنارا کب تک
