Born Waris Hasan Bedar Warsi, he was the son of the famous poet Bedam Shah Warsi. His grandfather's name was Qazi Syed Abul Hassan. After completing his elementary schooling, he went to high school and did his M.S. and Ph.D. Bedar Warsi was a privately registered doctor by profession. Along with doing social service, he was also engaged in poetry and journalism. His passion for poetry and speech was inherited from his father Bedam Warsi who was a well-known Sufi poet. He kept taking Islaah from his father and recited some excellent poems. Bedar Warsi passed away on January 3, 1987, in Noringabad, Itawah District, and was buried in the same cemetery.
