Born Mikhanand in Khanpur Bohna village of Azamgarh, he left his home and set out in search of a Guru at the age of twelve. Disappointed at not finding anyone, he set to return and, on the way, came to know that there is a saint named Gulal Saheb in Murakuda village of Ghazipur. Bhikha Sahab met him and accepted him as his Guru, and succeeded his Guru after his death. He kept his place for 24 years, finally leaving his mortal coil at the age of 50. His mausoleum is present in Mudkuda with his Guru Gulal Saheb and grandfather Guru Bulla Saheb. A big fair is organized here on Vijayadashmi. He has many texts, one of which is 'Ram Jahaj’ which is a very voluminous book.
