Profile of Daya Bai
She was the disciple of Mahatma Charandas Ji and Sahajo bai's guru sister. Born in a village called Dehra in Mewat, she is said to have been alive between 1750-1775 Samvat. In 1818 Samvat, her first treatise – Dayabodh came to light. Another book 'Vinay Malika' is credited to her, too.
