Profile of Ghubar Bhatti
Born Mushtaq Ahmad, he wrote under the pen name Ghubar. His father’s name was Maulana Nisar Ahmad. He was born in November 1920 in Barabanki and stepped into the literary world in 1938. He was accompanied by teachers like Maulvi Mahboob Ali Muhib, Mukhtar Munshi Kamil, Maulana Hasrat Mohani, Hakim Hadi Raza, Hakim Munne Agha Fazil and Hakim Baqir Hussain. His poems have been published in various Indian magazines. Medicine and writing were among his hobbies. He was a great admirer of Iqbal, Ghalib and Hasrat Mohani. Ghubar's two books, “Nanhi Rooh”, and Parwaaz-e-Ghubar, have come to the fore. He remained in Azimabad all his life, and was laid to rest there.
