bute jadugare chashm-e-siyahe

ta nazar uftad bar ruKHsar-e-nekoe kase

yar nazdik ast wa az didar-e-u duram hanuz

man nami goyam ki sufi bash ya mai-KHwar bash

baz imroz ba-sad naz-o-ada aamada-i

ja ba-abaadi ba-kunam ya sakin-e-virana bash

qatra-ha-e-ashk bashad gauhar-e-amman-e-ishq

dil burd ze-man chashm-e-siyahe ba-nigahe

نمی دانم چہ در اندیشۂ اوست !

زگریہ ام شدہ چشم پر آب در تہ آب

گردِ چمن گرد و صبا در جستجو می کیست ایں

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
