Profile of Haidar Warsi
Haider Warsi's real name is Allauddin and his father's name is Noorul Huda. He was born on January 1, 1946, in Darbhanga. He got his early education from his father and later graduated in Arts, did an M.A. in English from Bihar University City, B.Ed from T.T. College, Samastipur in 1970, and B.Ed from Shafi College Muslim High School, Darbhanga in 1978. Haider Warsi started writing poetry in 1975 and continued to take Islaah from Shadan Farooqi and Dr. Murtaza Azhar Rizvi. Haider was an heir in the Warsia order. Haider Warsi's five collections of poetry have been published so far, titled "Aks-e-Jamal", "Qurbat Ki Khushbu", "Samandar Ki Ankh", "Reg Zar-e-Hayat" and "Ajnabi Samton Se". Haider's expression is especially noted for his novelty of thought that creates a special effect on his readers.
