Profile of Jagjeevan Saheb
He was born in Sarhada village of Barabanki, on the banks of the river Saryu, at a distance of two miles from Kotwa. John Thomas wrote in his article that Jagjivan Saheb pursued the Satnami faith and wrote a treatise called Gyan Prakash in Vikram Samvat 1817 (1761 AD). His mentor was Bulla Saheb and his Gurmukh disciple was Dulandas ji. Major compositions- (1) Gyan Prakash, (2) Mahapralaya and (3) Word Sagar.
