Mulla Ghausi was a resident of Golkonda and was a court poet of Sultan Abdullah Qutb Shah. In 1045 AH, Sultan Muhammad Adil Shah sent Malik Khushnood as an envoy to Golkonda. In response, Sultan Abdullah sent Mulla Ghausi to Bijapur. Mulla Ghausi is well known for his writings. Fasana Saif al-Muluk and Badi 'al-Jamal are among his important works. This Masnavi ended in 1035 AH. Mulla Ghausi had started writing this Masnavi during the reign of Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah but it became valuable after 1626 during the reign of Sultan Abdullah Qutb Shah.
