Abdul Rahim Shah Warsi used the pen-name Nadim. He was among the dearest devotees of Haji Waris Ali Shah, and a resident of Dawa Barabanki district. He was born into a noble and dignified family. His father's name was Rustam Ali Shah Warsi. He was also Warsi order follower. Thanks to the generosity of Haji Waris Ali Shah, he started spending most of his time in Dewa Sharif. Owning to Divine revelations, Haji Waris Ali ordered Nadim to take up residence in Gangwarkutti Dewa. After pledging allegiance to Haji Waris Ali, he was given the pseudonym Nadim. Nadim Warsi died in Gangwarahi and was buried there. Even today, his shrine draws many pilgrims. Rahim Shah Warsi Nadim was also interested in poetry. He has written songs like Bhajan, Thumri, Kajri, Holi, Sawan, etc. His speech has been published in 1315 AH under the name of "Yadgar-e-Nadim".
