Qamar Warsi was a follower of Haji Waris Ali Shah. He is numbered among the distinguished poets of the Warisiya order. With a poetic taste since his childhood, he used Persian compounds effortlessly in his verse and was particularly noted for his simple and soothing Naa'ts. The first collection of Qamar Warsi has been published under the name of "Shams-ul-Zuha" and the second under the name of "Kaif-ul-Wara", both have been well-received in literary circles.
