है इ'श्क़ की नज़रों में बे-शक वही फ़रज़ाना

दुनिया मिरी नज़रों में क्या जाने अब क्या है

पुर-असर इतने तो यारब मरे नाले होते

हमारा सर है फ़क़त उस के आस्ताँ के लिए

ज़रा ऐ दीदा-ए-तर अब्र-ए-गौहर-बार हो जाना

कहाँ अंदाज़ अपने नाला का बुलबुल के शेवन में

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
