چوں شمع صرفۂ نبرد کس زکین ما

چشم او اظہار دل از بیم رسوائی نکرد

از گدازِ غم غبارِ خاطرم اکسیر شد

تدبیر عقل مانع دل بردنِ تو نیست

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
