कब तोहमत-ए-आईन-ए-वफ़ा उठती है देखो

मरीज़-ए-इ'श्क़ पे क्या क्या तिरी जफ़ा न हुई

हज़ार मौज-ए-बहाराँ गुज़र गई लेकिन

जब दिल में आए यारो तुम आज़मा के देखो

यहाँ जुनूँ की है चीरा-दस्ती ख़िरद का शहपर है लर्ज़ां-लर्ज़ां

बैत 13

इक 'उम्र से है मुझ पे नज़र बर्क़-ए-तपाँ की

उस चश्म-ए-नीयम वा का इशारा कुछ और है

तिश्नगी का मिरी अब कौन भरम रक्खेगा

रंग महफ़िल का देख कर चुप हैं

वहशत-ए-क़ैस पे हँसने की सज़ा पाई है
